The first ceremony for the unveiling and introduction of 12 knowledge-based Gazelle of Iran was held on Tuesday night, July 24, 2024, at the International Conference Center of IRIB, attended by the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. The only company in the electric power industry that managed to receive the Gazelle award was Electronics Afzar, where Mr. Bardbar, the CEO of Electronics Afzar Azma, received the Gazelle award from the Vice Presidency of Science.
“A knowledge-based Gazelle must have an average annual growth of 50% over the past five years. Continuing knowledge-based sales over these five years should be at least 30% of total sales, with a 20% annual growth in employment creation, an average annual export growth of 5%, and the achievement of $5 million in export revenues,” said Reza Asadi-Fard, Deputy for Development of Knowledge-Based Companies.
